Two submissions:

1) Trump wants to know more, and in general, we all should want that. I hope he enables more transparency, at all levels of government, ongoing, for all of us... Not of course names of contacts (to the public) -- but there is much "secret" information we are entitled to know, including the rest of the JFK documents. It is not sufficient (or legal) reason to withhold documents because an organization is worried about questionable acts, embarrassment, etc. All the more reason for full disclosure. By now I think most of us have a very good idea of what really happened at that horrid time – and there should still be severe repercussions for perpetrators, maybe worse, regardless of and because of how much time has been allowed to pass. Attempts by agencies to thwart our constitutional right to transparency and openness need to be punished, and discouraged.

My response to a reply to submission 1:
Did I say anything about selective transparency?  Even those in the industry agree that there is over-classification of items that are safe to release to the public ... This article provides another example of an issue bitterly dividing us along party lines and why we should do away with this divisive duopoly.  Arguing over transparency (?!) -- with several response deliberately distorting what I said (or didn't say)?  Hmm ... who's perhaps on a payroll spending time here and elsewhere undermining our right to free speech?  I am for our rights as laid out in Our Constitution, with the highest possible transparency, not compromising issues of sources, national security or equal, etc., regardless of the politics and views of anyone involved.  I have a further comment somewhere below, that was initially submitted about the time of my comment above.  This has further discussion including concerns for our freedom of speech and right to know vs. an outdated and overly-broad Espionage Act.  See other posts and my website ourconstitution.info for very concerning information including my thoughts on evaluating candidates by a numerical system or some other more inclusive, less divisive system.

2) It is no secret that the classification system is unnecessarily skewed towards secrecy, and only documents truly of national security or equivalent should be withheld from public disclosure. It is also true that even those working in our highest levels of oversight and Intel sometimes act unethically, or worse, and that is perhaps one of the more important reasons for increased oversight and transparency. I have horrid concerns about the CIA as a fired whistleblower at a powerful university, medical institution, and CIA hub. It is difficult to believe that the CIA has valid, reliable, and verifiable oversight from my experiences and the history I have read.  See some of my concerns at ourconstitution.info Home and under that Medical-Military pages. Among other concerns, the CIA should NOT be working stateside. Heed Eisenhower's and Truman's DECADES OLD WARNINGS now!! The CIA mandate, purpose, tasks, and goals must be thoroughly reviewed and revised ... The CIA MUST BE OUT of our schools and medical facilities.

Please recall that Our Republic is OF, BY, and FOR THE PEOPLE -- all the people -- not just those with power.  Moreover, the Espionage Act is overly broad and outdated, also facilitating this ongoing clampdown on whistleblowers, honesty, and our right to know.  Reform and revise the Espionage Act so that those brave souls trying to convey concerning, unethical, and/or illegal activities, here or elsewhere, are not discouraged, or ensnared, criminally charged, and/or imprisoned.  Obama was one of the scariest in these regards ... See my Links page at ourconstitution.info for more specifics in these regards.

My response to a reply to submission 2:
See my response to a reply to my other post above (entered about the same time as this one).  I am for transparency for everyone (and noted that we should ALL want that), despite efforts to mischaracterize what I said (and did not say).  You may find some information on my site that should be quite concerning to us all.  I call them as I see them and have complaints across the board, and in fact think this current divisive duopoly we call political parties is quite destructive (as did George Washington).  If we all truly wanted the best for America (as opposed to power, money??), people would work together, listen to each other, and not be so quick to call out someone so concerned, at least before knowing what they have to say.  Everyone should be concerned with the information on my site ... we do have "a lot of killers" (Trump to O'Reilly 2.5.17).

Using the current party system will continue to support this expensive, vicious, and antagonistic duopoly, even if we could have a greater number of strong parties. Voting and opinions will likely always devolve to a war of two. I think numbers as a gauge of the positions (a system of points with the sum total reflecting numerous positions of the candidate, on a scale), might be an option. The total would also reflect the candidate most in-line with one's views, based on many more factors than our current "us vs them" polarization. Just FYI -- George Washington hated the idea of political parties. See his statements in these regards at my site ourconstitution.info, Links, Broken Political System. So, the candidates would use their personal name, and are only representing themselves, not a party. One is voted on strictly for their views, without all the other machinations and huge costs associated with current political practices. Also, no lobbyists, with caps on expenses (with subsidies to the max), so that even a person of limited means could run if s/he had enough names on petitions, for example. We have safeguards in place to ensure that we do not have a "Tyranny of the Majority", and other protections could be implemented ...

Those are important points, thank you, but just who, once elected, is going to review and reform the Intel Apparatus? Should these orgs (FBI, CIA, NSA, etc.) continue to exist, just who is going to ensure they have valid, reliable, and verifiable oversight? Who is going to uphold Eisenhower's and Truman's decades old warnings? Who is going to demand the CIA is OUT of our education and medical institutions (stateside even!)?  Who is going to pull our soldiers from guarding poppy fields in Afghanistan? Who is going to ensure that Our Soldiers, and all Americans everywhere, fight and die for just causes only, upholding Our Constitution, and Republic of, by, and for the People, nothing less? Who is going to reform the Espionage Act? Who is going to respect and protect Whistleblowers? Who is going to protect our patients? Thank you, your points are important ... but we have a lot more work to do, unfortunately regarding more horror than ever. I have learned about much of this as a threatened, fired whistleblower myself (at a powerful university/medical institution that is also a long-time CIA hub). See ourconstitution.info Home tab and Medical-Military under that -- who is going to do what, about our lots "of killers" (Trump to O"Reilly 2.5.17), and too-easy-too-access high-lethality chemicals and biologics??? Protest with me in Miami, or wherever you are, before it's too late. Send your protest pics and I will post.

Kiriakou has yet to be pardoned -- he blew the whistle on black-sites and torture... I am sure he would like the support this soldier had. Although initially cleared of any wrongdoing under Bush, Kiriakou was retaliated against by the CIA, and charged, under Obama -- who charged more whistleblowers under the Espionage Act than any other administration. Obama is one scary ex-president -- Trump also told O'Reilly on 2.5.17 that we have "a lot of killers". Obama implemented this h_ll, or certainly knew about it and did nothing -- Trump was early-on in his presidency then. I hope he does something about it now. See my site ourconstitution.info, the murder of Joan M... I wrote Obama with concerns she would never make it out of the hospital, with not a word back. 1/2 We Americans would do well to, in fact must, recall what Our Constitution stands for as well as the laws and doctrines that resulted from the Nuremberg trials. How quickly some forget, or grotesquely feel they are entitled, in this day and age, to behave in the most barbaric, illegal, and depraved ways ... Unfortunately, as a Jew, I am speaking of Jews as well. We must listen to and heed the critical words of those documents, as well as another source of important teaching, and demand that Eisenhower's Warning is implemented immediately. We must demand that our Intelligence Apparatus, all 17 agencies, some more concerning than others, as well as the US Military, are reviewed, reformed, and/or dismantled. These organizations must operate in line with Our Constitution and The Laws and Lessons of Nuremberg, nothing less. We demand that these agencies and their future, current, and ex-workers, and their powers over life and death, have valid, reliable, and verifiable oversight, from now into perpetuity. We have begun that steep and treacherous descent, and must act now to uphold those values Our, and The World's, Brave Soldiers fought and died for over the years. See my site ourconstitution.info Home, and under that Medical-Military. (see 2/2 below)

2/2 As crucial as Hong Kong's current plight is, these concerns I have outlined here (submission 1/2 above) and documented at my site, are of a depravity so horrid, that now is when Americans, and everyone, must ALL protest, here and everywhere -- If we are not that Beacon, who would be? We must be that Beacon, there is none other... We must demand to live in the World and Humanity Our Brave Soldiers fought for, and not descend into and beyond the h_ll they died fighting.

I appreciate what this company is doing to try to make amends and bring attention to horrid wrongs that occurred those relatively few decades back. There were also large and well-known American companies and institutions that contributed to the Nazi machine. They still exist and (still) have their names on some of America's most famous buildings. I have been waiting to hear from them ... See more information about this by Edwin Black at ourconstitution.info, Links page. Protest with me in Miami, or wherever you are, before it is too late. Send your protest pics and I'll post. Overall there is too much secrecy, contrary to the openness and knowledge a healthy Republic should have. The over-classification of documents and overly-broad, outdated Espionage Act are no secrets to journalists and whistleblowers trying to know the truth, and to get it to the public. Our Republic is of, by, and for all the People, not only the powerful... This secrecy and over-classification is indeed a problem for all political parties. I think oversight needs to be increased as well -- we have every right to demand that all Intel personal communications are ethical and nonpartisan. We should all be able to say what the valid, reliable and verifiable oversight for these orgs is as well, an issue of concern to many.  Our current political system fosters antagonism, unproductive, and unhealthy rivalry. Perhaps a numerical system of gauging candidates, a system of points with the sum total reflecting numerous positions of the candidate, on a scale, might be an option? The total would also reflect the candidate most in-line with one's views, based on many more factors than our current "us vs them" polarization. One would be voted on strictly for their views, without all the other machinations and huge costs associated with current political practices. Also, no lobbyists, with caps on expenses (with subsidies to the max), so that even a person of limited means could run if s/he had enough names on petitions, for example. George Washington hated the idea of political parties. See his statements in these regards at my site ourconstitution.info, Links, Broken Political System. We have safeguards in place to ensure that we do not have a "Tyranny of the Majority", and other protections could be implemented... Regardless, problems with the current system of document classification as well as with the Espionage Act should be remedied asap to ensure full Constitutional and First Amendment rights, as well as the openness and knowledge that all Americans deserve.

Background checks? Don't waste taxpayer money. The people we need to worry about probably won't get their guns that way.

I think mandatory military conscription here might be an idea, for a number of reasons. This system has been shown to promote a sense of self reliance and purpose, and a healthy respect for weaponry and war. It is often all young adults of a certain age, that serve for a year or more. Gun violence is actually lower in these countries. I prefer no war or soldiers, but that unfortunately is not realistic, and likely never will be.

I think it is important as well, that we are all informed about weapons, and our military, and our conflicts. Right now there is an 'us vs. them' dichotomy with the military, a real divide. There are several bases near me, but one wouldn't even know it unless you go there. I think a healthier society would be 'we', including the military. With mandatory conscription, we are ALL invested in the direct costs of conflicts and wars, as I think we should be. This takes some (?) control away from the military and government, and they may not like it ... However, we should all consider mandatory conscription, a military truly Of, By, and For The People.

As usual, solid, important reporting. Can't speak enough about the horrors of our criminal justice system. I hope these two senators are among others asking Trump not to pardon soldiers & others convicted of war crimes. What sort of message does that send to those troops acting legally, & to those who took risks reporting them? We demand Our Soldiers, & all Americans, work, fight & die for just causes only, upholding Our Constitution, & Republic, of, by, & for The People, nothing less. I request these two senators & all other legislators demand a pardon for John Kiriakou. I also believe that there are much more important problems than those associated with Manning & Assange. Manning has already testified; prison is being used as coercion against her.Assange has done time, essentially prison, for years, punishment for any US crimes he may have committed.Americans do NOT want any more time & money spent on Assange. As one of many much higher priority concerns, I request that our troops in Africa are monitored & protected from Ebola, & that this outbreak is monitored, contained, and halted with expediency.

Pardon Kiriakou and all other whistleblowers who were criminally charged, pardon and release Manning & all other whistleblowers currently incarcerated. These rare heroes speak out with great risk, and demand that the line beyond decency and humanity is not crossed. We owe them immense gratitude; we otherwise would not know the truth. If we are not that Beacon, who would be?

I think using names for parties will continue to support this expensive, vicious, and antagonistic system, even if we could have a greater number of strong parties. More of the rise of the National Security State. How scary it is that many are so accepting... Mining all drivers licenses without cause, no due process ("unprecedented surveillance infrastructure")? We must demand that Eisenhower's and Truman's warnings are heeded, instead of this horrid progression of the Military Industrial that they warned about... Thanks to Snowden, we know that the NSA spied on its overseers, the Senate Intel Committee, along with many other Americans. The CIA operates in many of our universities ... they need to be OUT of our schools. See ourconstitution.info to also learn of the horror of our Medical-Military Industrial Complex. I am a fired whistleblower at a large university/medical school, and CIA hub (apparently still only second in size to Langley). There are high-level, deadly biologics being used against Americans, among other unconstitutional travesties. Tumor markers are falsified to mask the progression or diagnosis of disease, hence, no appropriate treatment (either to cure of stave off). This could be for reasons of hate or to make money on more costly treatments. People are killed in and out of hospitals, just as Trump told O'Reilly: we have "a lot of killers" (video at my links page).  Protest with me in Miami, or wherever you are, before it is too late. Let Snowden return, a free truth-teller. Free Assange, Manning, and all incarcerated truth-tellers. Expunge John Kiriakou's record. 1/2  I would hope that MIT, or any university, would not want to "sully its national and international reputation for chump change", or any amount of compensation, especially when the level of brutality even touches on that of Saudi Arabia. Speaking of horrors, here, in the States, I strongly suggest that campuses demand that the CIA is off of their premises. I suggest they, along with all Americans, demand a review, reform, and sunsetting if necessary, of the Intel agencies, with valid, reliable, and verifiable oversight of those that continue to exist.

See my site, ourconstitution.info, Home, and Medical-Military page under that. As a fired whistleblower at a large university/medical school, and long-time CIA hub, probably still second in size only to Langley, I will say that the National Security State (NSS) is alive and well, and our universities, as CIA hubs, and perhaps other concerning entities not known to me, are facilitating this h_ll. Intel agencies should only be on our campuses for job fairs, and as retired teachers, with full disclosure. A new agency, solely dedicated to investigation of foreign agents, should be implemented. (See 2/2 below.)

2/2 Trump told O'Reilly on 2.5.17 (video on my Links page) that we have "a lot of killers", and we do, in and out of hospitals. Aside from murder appearing natural, such as heart attacks and "elevated labs", tumor markers are being falsified so that true cancer load is manipulated, or a false negative result is conveyed, and treatment perhaps forgone, not started, etc. High-level (supposedly secured), lethal biologics, are available to the powerful, and used to kill people; they just don't wake up, hours after ingestion.

We have begun that steep and treacherous descent -- concerns over money from Saudi Arabia, although very important, pale in comparison. Demand Eisenhower's and Truman's warnings are heeded now! Protest with me in Miami, or wherever you are, before it is too late ...

https://consortiumnews.com/2019/06/24/john-kiriakou-cia-seeking-more-impunity/
6.27.19 1:07am
Thank you again for the important information John. This actually cleared (?) -- I just read the above comment -- how scary ... Boy, do they have blinders on, or are running scared...  Apparently like presidents since JFK ... I have reported this information -- and nothing is being done .. Any suggestions??? Are we really Beyond the Pale -- forever lost, under Military and CIA control? We cannot accept this and must all protest, or nothing will change ... I apologize for this length, but anyone reading this will realize that the Intel Apparatus, specifically certain employees of the CIA, and likely some in the FBI, and maybe others, are acting outside of their mandate, if not horribly illegally and unethically. They, in no manner, should be allowed less transparency. They in fact need to be reviewed, and perhaps disbanded or reformed. As the writer also alludes to, there are far more serious concerns we should be worried about in regards to the CIA. Many would agree that the CIA has insufficient oversight as it is, and that Eisenhower's and Truman's warnings from decades ago have yet to be heeded. Such increased "protections", as referenced in this article, are not only not warranted, but extremely dangerous. As a former student at a local state university here in Miami, who has had horrid experiences involving a person from outside that university who was involved with my project; and secondly, as a fired whistleblower at another local, large, private university and medical institution also in Miami, that also happens to be a CIA hub, I personally have very serious concerns for the CIA operating in the States, something they are not supposed to be doing. I have documented my concerns on my site, ourconstitution.info, Links, Home, and Medical-Military page under that. It would appear that this person involved with my project is also involved with Intel agencies, or certainly knows people with high-level "skills" of all types, something I think should have been disclosed, if true. I didn't know him much and wasn't told much, although he received his PhD from Texas A&M, also a large CIA hub.

As mentioned, I have other concerns in these regards as a whistleblower reporting cancer data manipulation in violation of State law, something the State didn't take any action about, saying these private university employees were not State employees. The retaliation, including a vile threat and high-level hacking, as well as deaths time-lining whenever I would complain, some obvious, seeming natural and/or horrid, and others perplexing, the latter likely due to a "high-level" biologic, obviously not secured sufficiently, or without sufficient oversight (more below). There was also an instance of an older "couple" trying to ingratiate themselves with my friends and family, someone I knew we had not known, although they claimed to know us from years ago, even with some photos. (There were a few people who had access to the home and who I believe took photos, and other things, out.) I have much more information at my site, as mentioned, and the horrid 40 page document will be sent upon request (email at my site). Not only should the CIA NOT be operating stateside, they should be OUT of all our schools, but for job fairs and as retiree teachers, with full disclosure (should they continue to exist). People should not be targeted, threatened, intimidated, and/or retaliated against in the way I have been, or anything resembling these actions, ever. If the CIA is indeed involved in this, they certainly need to be "outed", and regardless, OUT of our schools. A supervisor at the university where I worked also pointedly told me that she had a relative in the FBI, and I never received the first call from them ... These things remind me of Truman's saying about the CIA (and likely true of the FBI) -- they stir up trouble to justify their existence. Some employees are no doubt not the caliber we demand from people in these important positions of power, and they must be weeded out. These organizations must have valid, reliable, and verifiable oversight. They need more oversight, not less transparency. The Senate Intelligence Committee needs to heed Eisenhower's and Truman's warnings from decades ago -- NOW -- that is The People's demand.

Everyone should beware of what I call this Medical-Military Industrial Complex; a bit more on the suspicious deaths. (See the murder of Joan Mon my Home page, that was not suspicious, but quite obvious, [beyond the fact that she wasn't mortally or lethally ill], for a number of reasons I go into. This occurred about a month or so after I reported this university to the Joint Commission -- see link at Home page.) "Senator" Rubio did nothing to help save her, despite my emails, and unfortunately he is also on the "oversight" Senate Intelligence Committee. Rubio also receives a lot of money from people affiliated with the university I was fired from -- the same place that Joan M. was a patient ...  Rubio should step down ... I referred to deliberate killings above; deaths can appear natural (induced heart attack, induced elevated labs, etc.), or no cause can be found (victims just don't wake up hours after ingesting, with food for example, this particular biologic [which is SUPPOSED to be very high level], I am not aware of other examples in these regards). This is, scarily, occurring in hospitals (as well as not in hospitals, particularly the biologic). These weapons should all be made known to society (forensic pathologists know), and we should have a regulatory body and strict monitoring over them as well as all people with access. They need to be highly secured (if not outlawed and destroyed); I can assure you, despite the "high-level" classification of the biologic, it/they are accessible to the powerful. As a fired whistleblower, as mentioned above, from a large university/CIA hub and medical institution, I can tell you of this horror with much certainty.

As also mentioned, I have much documentation, and am indeed seeking a lawyer, because I want this to be known, perpetrators punished, and patients, and everyone protected -- in hospital, home, or wherever. This is what non-war, societal elimination killings likely look like, at least in part -- not anything we know from the past -- and they are going on now. You will see from my site that the reasons vary from retaliation, to a patient costing too much, or just hate, or probably any other reason one could think of. Feel free to share this; people need to know, protect themselves (more under my Medical-Military page) and demand an end to such barbarity and unconstitutionality. Please refer to attorneys!

I have also warned about the poison that is our current political duopoly, and most of my concerns stated here and on my site stem from the years Obama was in office. Under my Outreach page I have other recent published letters, with more information in these regards and other topics. Obama charged more whistleblowers under the Espionage Act (so far), than all prior administrations to his. This is disgraceful for any president, regardless of party. This duopoly is also extremely unproductive, and we deserve much more, and much better. Secrecy is the bane of Democracy - revise or sunset the Espionage Act, reform the document classification system, both of which are used to entrap and silence truth-tellers like Mr. Kiriakou, who we greatly appreciate for his service and for exposing US torture and black sites... He should be pardoned! Free Assange, Manning, and all truth-tellers! Protest with me in Miami, or wherever you are, before it is too late. Send protest pics and i'll post. Demand the Senate Intel heed Eisenhower’s and Truman’s warnings NOW!!

I responded, somewhat lengthy, and with horrid concerns, to a June 25 comment here yesterday, so it is several comments down ... I think this h_ll is worse than many of us want to even imagine would happen here; I am a fired whistleblower from the Medical-Military Industrial Complex ... a powerful university, medical school, and long-term CIA hub that is perhaps still second only to Langley in size.

I have described a nightmare, so unconstitutional and horrid -- everyone must know and be protesting NOW! We must protect patients and everyone NOW!! There is no other way than protest, they are/this is well out-of-control ... I am looking to sue if any attorney wants to take this on ... I also refer to my website ourconstitution.info, which has information linked, although I have much more.

Please see my concerns outlined below, and feel free to email me (see site) and otherwise spread these concerns ... Why hasn't someone sued to get the CIA OUT of our schools??? For some reason (?) days ago they suspended my Twitter (rcnsti2ndotinfo), although I didn't take followers, but had recently un-followed several so I could follow those related to Assange ... I replied to their email for help but no response ... We have begun that steep and treacherous descent ...

Very sad. The beauty and diversity, healthy ecosystem, and powerful medical cures -- going, going, ... The only thing scarier than this is our out-of-control Intel Apparatus.

CIA needs to be OUT of our universities and medical institutions -- demand Eisenhower's and Truman's warnings are heeded. Demand review. reform, and valid, reliable, and verifiable oversight, before it is too late. Demand patient protection! Protest with me in Miami, or wherever you are ... see pics at ourconstitution.info, send me yours to post, also see Home and under that Medical-Military, for horrid information and documentation ... We have begun that steep and treacherous descent ...

Thank you for your service. As Americans, we all must defend Our Constitution and freedom of speech!

See my sight for more horrors that are real now - "a lot of killers" (Trump to O'Reilly - see video at my Links page) - in and out of hospitals. I am a fired whistleblower at a large university, medical school, and (perhaps still) 2nd largest CIA hub ... They kill, you just don't know it's murder, in and out of hospitals. Injections ("heart attacks" or "elevated labs"), high-level ingested biologics hours after which you just don't wake up (ingested at home, restaurant, etc.), ingested radioisotopes (in food - colon cancer, in drink - bladder cancer), and falsified tumor markers so that by the time one knows they have disease, or progression, it is too late to cure and/or the costs to treat $$$ are higher.

Reasons for the killings include retaliation, patients costing too much (not dying quick enough), hate for any number of reasons, medical experimentation, and need for medical student cadavers (and maybe body parts ?). We need the option for cameras on in all patient rooms, labs without MD approval and with option for pseudonym (MDs have too much control!), and a monitor for real-time ingestion and injection of chemicals and biologics. Protest with me in Miami, or wherever you are, before it is too late. Send your protest pics and I will post. Free Assange and Heed Eisenhower's warning!

Very sad and tragic history of our Native people continues, still affecting a vastly disproportionate number of them.  How is this allowed?  No one should live this way.  Many of these proud people, despite having their children, home, language, clothes, and culture ripped away from them physically and emotionally, despite many being marched over a 1000 miles in exodus, many know their ancestral history and maintain their rituals and language.  They have fought in our world wars and used that language as code talkers to help win both.  These original inhabitants have a lot to teach us about life, forgiveness, the environment, and humanity, and we should want to help them and know what they have to say.

Justice For Jamal ... Do not fear Hatice, Jamal is not and will never be forgotten. He, and his words, will always remain with us and remind the World of why it is so important to strive for and defend our Freedoms, and especially our First Amendment rights here in Jamal's adopted home country. See my ongoing tribute to him on my site. Saudi Arabia needs the US, and I know has capable men and women who could lead the country towards a productive and humane society -- they need to change leadership and hold Jamal's killers accountable... Do Not torture those who dare voice alternative opinions -- Do Not continue your bloodshed -- Do Not execute Salman al-Awda, Awad al-Qarni and Ali al-Omari -- and any other citizens of this Earth -- Silence, secrecy, and barbarity are banes of freedom and democracy, and the people of Saudi Arabia, like everyone, deserve the productive and prosperous life such wealth helps to facilitate, not the brutal power it has enabled.

Our Republic is Of, By, and For the People, and WE did not agree to ANY of this. I think Amendments 3 and 4 would apply in this day and age --- to ALL surveillance, information gathering going on (Intel, military, commercial, etc.) at home, and otherwise -- and require due process. Moreover, there is no need for any surveillance, or otherwise intrusion rights, to be granted except in regards to the criminal justice system, with cause. Someone should sue -- if I could afford to, I would!

and in response to a general comment 7:25pm:

@Jon K
It is everything that has changed and made us into this horrid National Security State ... not just this. I am sure people fully expect to be tracked if they commit a crime-- this is not what is going on here --- it is a "mining" of the databases, as standard procedure. Please recall that thanks to Snowden's revelations we found out that the NSA spied on their overseers, the Senate Intel Committee, as well as many of us.

We have never heeded Eisenhower's warning, and that h_ll has come home to roost -- see my site. Truman warned about the CIA -- stirring up trouble to justify their existence -- I can attest as a fired whistleblower at a powerful university, medical school, and CIA hub, the Medical-Military Industrial Complex is alive and well. Let Snowden come home, a free person... We owe him and all truth-tellers much appreciation. Demand that the CIA is OUT of our schools! We have begun that steep and treacherous descent ...

2 submissions:

This is a very important issue, and nothing should impede our First Amendment rights.  The Espionage Act is overly broad,  outdated, and should be revised so that it is not used to hinder information and truth the American public has a right to know.   The document classification system is also known to be skewed towards secret classifications, even of documents not endangering national security or of equal import.  Our Republic, of, by, and for The People, operates optimally when knowledge and truth is shared.  We demand these archaic, anti-democratic, and secretive, power-preserving practices are brought in-line with the openness, liberty, and truth Our Constitution demands.  I agree that journalists must be concerned for people's safety, and should leave out names of those who might then be in danger.  I think that might be the main lesson here -- and I think it is a lesson learned.  I for one want Our Soldiers, and all Americans everywhere, fighting and dying for just causes only, upholding Our Laws and Constitution, nothing less.  I want to know and should be informed when that is not the case. We absolutely cannot be that Beacon we should be, if there are less than optimum journalistic checks and balances.  If we are not that Beacon, who would be?  Now THAT is a very scary thought ...

We have many other more crucial concerns and problems in the US and this World -- including starvation, mutilations, diseases - including Ebola again now, as well a horrid world-wide drug problem, poverty, lack of potable water and healthcare/insurance, antibiotic resistance, other environmental/ecological - population vs. decrease in tree cover/primary forest/species extinction - soil/air/water pollution, human trafficking, and multiple armed conflicts, to name a few. We demand these issues and others of serious concern are addressed more fully, and no more time and money spent by the US on matters regarding Assange.  He has basically been in prison for many years now, I submit paying the price for whatever wrongs the US deems he has committed.  We demand that the needs of Americans and those impoverished and under siege throughout the World, as mentioned in the partial listing above, are addressed instead.  Chelsea Manning is also now being held again in efforts to coerce her to testify, something she has maintained she has already done, and has no more to add.  Let Chelsea go free.  We needed to know the information these brave souls and others have helped make public.  We can be and should be so much better than this.

Scarily, there is enough hate and worse to go around by both extremes. It seems apparent that if this h_ll is to stop, it is up to US, the PEOPLE. Trump told O'Reilly 2.5.17 that we have "a lot of killers' (see/hear this at my Links page). I can attest that, as a fired whistleblower at a powerful university and medical institution, that is also a large CIA hub, the type of murders I have reported (detailed, 40 page court submitted document) by the left (largely or completely), are not picked up on statistics -- they appear natural, whether they occur in or out of hospitals. See ourconstitution.info Home and Medical-Military under that. Demand the CIA is OUT of our schools. Demand protections for patients (suggestions at my site). Demand that Eisenhower's and Truman's warnings are heeded and that the Intel Apparatus is reviewed and has valid, reliable, and verifiable oversight should they continue to exist. If the Senate/House overseers were doing their job, and not politicized, scared, or too comfortable, etc., we would not be in this position. That includes the FBI -- I never got the first call from them ... We saw from what has happened with the FBI recently that they also need more oversight if not an overhaul. They should not act in a partisan manner, either way. IT IS UP TO US. Protest with me in Miami, or wherever you are, NOW, before it is too late. See my protest pics, send yours and I'll post. Feel free to email any questions. Looking for a lawyer as well ...

I went back to one of the linked articles here ("racially charged taunts"), and I think mention of the hangings, the burning of the wife, cutting of the baby from her womb, and stomping of that baby to death, did an injustice to the memory and brutality of those actions. I am sure ancestors of that family, or anyone, would much prefer they had had a brief heated argument, as Trump and Cummings did, as opposed to that barbaric reality. It was an unconscionable comparison.

I despise hatred and racism, but I call this 'stirring up trouble', including the article and title; more of our vicious, counterproductive duopoly. It seems that this conversation would have occurred regardless of the races involved; this is what our parties do - argue and fight, against each other, and within. I believe we should do away with political parties, and have suggestions at my site ourconstitution.info, Outreach, Comments. Parties are counterproductive, and we all deserve much better.

I don't agree with plenty of Trump's decisions or comments, but he is taking important steps to improve conditions for our prisoners and in the criminal justice system ... We know that this system is strongly biased against the poor and people of color. How many Democrats and Republicans have offered to do what they can to help in these regards? Where is Ocasio-Cortez, or the representative for Ramsey Orta, the man who filmed the death of Eric Garner? He is now being retaliated against horribly, including apparently poisoning of food while in jail. How does this brutality continue with Representatives in every district plus state-wide offices? https://www.theverge.com/2019/3/13/18253848/eric-garner-footage-ramsey-orta-police-brutality-killing-safety. Everyone should care about THESE racial/demographic biases and inequities; those wrongfully and over charged, and those innocents put to death.
